LeBron James Notches 21 Points In Return Against New Orleans
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James helped the Lakers past the New Orleans Pelicans in Wednesday night's 120-102 win. James returned to the starting lineup with no issue after missing the Lakers' last three meetings with an ankle injury. He recorded 21 points, six rebounds, six assists and one block, shooting 7-for-14 from the field in 29 minutes. Anthony Davis bounced back offensively, dropping a game-high 28 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks in 30 minutes, all while shooting an efficient 13-for-17 from the field. Since returning to LA before the trade deadline, D'Angelo Russell had his first 20-plus game with the Lakers. Russell looked good, totaling 21 points, two rebounds, seven assists and one steal, shooting 5-for-12 in 28 minutes. Keep an eye on Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley, as they were placed in the starting lineup and may remain there. Their roles should increase over time, and they should be viewed as viable streaming options in deeper formats.
