Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Laurent Brossoit will miss the start of training camp after undergoing surgery on his right knee. The 31-year-old veteran is expected to be game-ready in five to seven weeks. The Blackhawks kick off their 2024-25 campaign against Utah on Oct. 8. Following a second spell with the Winnipeg Jets, Brossoit joined the Blackhawks on a two-year deal in free agency this summer. He'll be sharing the net with Petr Mrazek. Brossoit had an impressive 15-5-2 record with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage last season. He benefited from playing behind a strong team, and the 2023 Stanley Cup winner is set to face a much tougher time in Chicago.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
