Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Laurent Brossoit (knee) is expected to miss at least six further weeks of action. He underwent a follow-up arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Tuesday. Due to knee trouble, Brossoit has yet to play this season. Brossoit has proven himself as one of the best backups in the league during his career and was set to battle for a starting job in Chicago after the Blackhawks signed him to a two-year, $6.6 million deal as a free agent in the summer. Petr Mrazek has filled the position during Brossoit's absence, going 7-8-1 with a 2.64 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
