Latavius Murray Ruled Out Against Vikings
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Latavius Murray (ankle) hasn't been on the field since Oct. 17 and will be ruled out for Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. The 31-year-old hasn't played since Week 6 and wasn't able to improve during the team's bye last week. If you have other needs in 10- or 12-team leagues, Murray can probably be dropped at this time. The Ravens are expected to continue with their committee approach in the backfield with Murray remaining sidelined. That means Devonta Freeman, Le'Veon Bell and Ty'Son Williams will split the touches in this low-upside backfield. Freeman is probably your best bet, but he's more of an RB4/flex in much deeper leagues.
