Landry Shamet Traded To Brooklyn
4 years agoThe Brooklyn Nets are in the midst of acquiring guard Landry Shamet in a three-way trade with the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons. The 19th overall pick in tonight's draft is heading to the Pistons, while Luke Kennard is going to the Clippers. Shamet averaged 2.1 threes per game with the Clippers last year and should be a consistent three-point threat again this year, whether he plays for the Nets or if he's on the move again before the season starts. Kennard, meanwhile, could play some meaningful minutes for the Clippers and become one of the team's top three-point threats, filling the void left by Shamet.
