2 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Landon Knack is set to be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Friday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. Knack is set to fill in for Clayton Kershaw (toe), who was placed on the 15-day IL on Saturday with a bone spur. Knack has held a solid 3.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and a 12:44 BB:K ratio across 48 innings of work split between a starter and relief role in the majors this summer. At Triple-A, he posted a 3.71 ERA and 1.26 WHIP, with a 31:79 BB:K ratio in 68 innings. Knack is worth adding as a flier in deeper leagues as he may eventually earn a consistent spot in the starting rotation going forward. However, Yoshinobu Yamamoto is set to return on Tuesday, which may move Knack back to the bullpen or Triple-A.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
