6 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session and faced a simulated hitter at the end on Tuesday and called it "another positive step forward." McCullers is nearing a return and could make a couple of starts before the end of the season. Injuries continue to hurt his overall value, but when McCullers is on the mound he has as most upside as any. The right-hander is 10-6 with a 3.93 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 9.9 K/9 over 22 innings this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
