3 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler provided an update on injured outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (knee) on Sunday. Kapler stated that he believes Wade will be out for at least a few weeks. Wade landed on the 10-day injured list with left knee inflammation this past Friday. Injuries have held the 28-year-old to just 10 games so far this year. Over those 10 games, he's slashed .240/.375/.360 with one home run, five RBI and four runs. Luis Gonzalez was called up from Triple-A to take Wade's roster spot and he should see a decent amount of playing time in the coming weeks.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
