LaMonte Wade Jr. A Late Scratch From Tuesday's Lineup
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman LaMonte Wade Jr. (side) was scratched from Tuesday's lineup after experiencing right-side soreness, according to Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com. David Villar will take his spot in the infield and bat ninth. Wade Jr. is in the midst of his best season with the bat, slashing .280/.415/.463 with nine homers, 38 runs, 27 RBI, and a pair of steals over 68 games. Those numbers are solid in every format, so hopefully, this move was just a precaution. Fantasy managers should consider Wade Jr. day-to-day and check back in for more updates.
