Lame-Duck Noah Gragson Seems Anonymous Lately
1 week agoAlthough Noah Gragson looked like he was building to something in the first half of the season, he has almost been entirely invisible in the second half, particularly after it became clear that Stewart-Haas Racing would not be returning in its current form in 2025. Since he has already signed with Front Row Motorsports for 2025, he has little incentive to seriously fight. Although the SHR cars tend to struggle for speed everywhere, they do still have some speed on short tracks and Gragson has earned top 20 finishes in four of the five short track races, including a 20th at Martinsville in the spring, where he starts 25th today. Considering that trend as well as his trend of five top tens in the last seven races, he'll likely collect another finish in the back half of the top 20 while never contending at any point.
