2 years agoLaMarcus Aldridge, most known for his time with the Portland Trail Blazers, officially announced his retirement via Twitter on Friday. The 37-year-old originally retired while playing with the Brooklyn Nets in 2021-22 after doctors found an irregular heartbeat during one of his games. Since then, he worked out with multiple NBA teams to possibly make a comeback, but it seems that won't come to fruition. Aldridge was the second overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft and spent nine seasons with Portland, six with San Antonio, and one and a half with Brooklyn.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
