Lamar Jackson Torches Rams In MNF Debut
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson went on a touchdown frenzy in Monday Night's Week 12 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Jackson completed 15-of-20 passes for 169 yards and five touchdowns. He added 95 yards on eight carries on the ground. During the second quarter, Jackson had a 36-yard scamper where he slipped a yard shy of the end zone. Receiver Marquise Brown hauled in the first two touchdowns of the game, both of which were in the first quarter. Jackson then spread the love to receiver Willie Snead for two scores and found running back Mark Ingram for his second touchdown of the game. The Rams Defense proved to be another victim of a Ravens offense that was firing on all cylinders Monday Night. Jackson exited the game and was replaced by Robert Griffin III after throwing his fifth touchdown to Willie Snead early in the fourth quarter to make the score 42-to-6. There isn't a question that Jackson should be started every week, no matter the opponent, even against a stout 49ers Defense in Week 13.
