Lakers Showing Interest In Buddy Hield
2 years agoIndiana Pacers guard Buddy Hield is receiving trade interest from the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Matt Moore of Action Network. Hield split the 2021-22 season with the Pacers and the Sacramento Kings. Over 26 games with the Pacers, he averaged 18.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while shooting 44.7% from the field and 36.2% from three-point range. He has two years remaining on his contract and is set to make about $20 million in 2022-23. If the Lakers wind up trading for him, it would likely mean that the team would let fellow three-point specialist Malik Monk walk in free agency.
