Lakers May Need To Include Two Firsts With Russell Westbrook
2 years agoAccording to Mike Scotto of HoopsHype, in order for the Los Angeles Lakers to complete a trade involving Russell Westbrook, the Lakers will have to include a pair of future first-round picks. The 33-year-old is due to make $47 million this year, making him a massive burden on any team's books. On the bright side, he has just one more year on his contract before he becomes a free agent. The likelihood of a Westbrook deal seems minimal at this point, and there have been reports that the team's trio of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Westbrook is eager to make things work in Los Angeles.
