Kyrie Irving Hits Six Treys Versus Spurs
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving had a tough time shooting the ball in Monday's overtime victory versus the Spurs, but he still went 6-for-10 from downtown and collected 27 points. He finished 9-for-24 overall shooting while adding seven assists, six rebounds and one block with zero turnovers in 42 minutes. He shot over 50 percent throughout February, so expect his scoring touch to return soon. He has two more games before the All-Star break, but it's very likely that he'll take the court just once, as it's a back-to-back situation on Wednesday and Thursday. The latter matchup will be against Boston, so maybe the Nets will allow him to have a revenge game.
