Kyle Wright Back In Majors
6 years agoThe Atlanta Braves called up pitcher Kyle Wright from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday and optioned pitcher Grant Dayton to Gwinnett in a corresponding move. Wright is the team's No. 2 prospect and No. 28 overall, per MLB Pipeline, but he figures to be used in long relief for the time being. The 23-year-old right-hander has a 7.07 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 11 strikeouts in 14 innings in his three starts at the big league level in 2018. He should only be stashed in dynasty/keeper formats for the time being and could find himself back in the minors before long.
