Kyle Trask Continues His Strong Play
1 year agoTampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Kyle Trask continued to step up and deliver despite being named the backup to open the season. The 25-year-old spent a majority of the preseason competing with Baker Mayfield for the starting gig in Tampa Bay. The Bucs ultimately decided to go with Mayfield as their starter. Despite that, Trask continued his strong preseason versus the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday. Trask completed 19-of-31 passing attempts for 192 yards and a touchdown in the win. He has been able to limit the turnovers and make some big plays on offense. The former second-round pick is set to backup Mayfield, but will be the next man up off the bench.
