Kyle Stanley Hopes For Five Straight Made Cuts at TPC Deere Run
6 years agoKyle Stanley has been all or nothing over the last five months. In the 30-year-old American's previous 12 tournaments, he has posted six top-25 finishes and missed four cuts. The only two aberrational finishes came during his last outing at the Quicken Loans National, where he finished in a share of 32nd place and at the Masters, finishing in 52nd. This week, Stanley will attempt to make his fifth straight cut at the John Deere Classic. During his made cut streak at TPC Deere Run, Stanley has notched two top-25 showings but also has thrown in two finishes outside of the top 50. Stanley is 15th in the field for birdies or better gained and 20th in strokes gained approach over his previous 24 rounds. His lack of consistency draws some uncertainty, but his immaculate ball-striking skills make him a player you can't completely ignore, mostly when you consider the lack of strength in the field this week.
