Kyle Muller To Start Sunday Against Reds
3 years agoAtlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker confirmed on Saturday that left-hander Kyle Muller will get the start on Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds. With Kyle Wright in the minors, Muller is getting a shot at the fifth starting job in Atlanta. In his one start for the Braves this year, Muller allowed just one run while striking out three and walking two in four innings against the New York Mets last Monday. In seven starts at Triple-A Gwinnett, the 23-year-old southpaw had a 5.17 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 41:19 K:BB in 31 1/3 frames. The chances are that Muller won't go deep enough in his second start to give fantasy managers much upside. The Reds also lead the National League in batting average (.250) and are second in OPS (.751), so Muller isn't a recommended low-cost DFS streamer.
