Kyle Manzardo Walks Three Times
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays first base prospect Kyle Manzardo went 0-for-2 with three walks for Triple-A Durham. The 22-year-old's bat has gone cold this month, with just a .200 batting average in the past 17 games. However, he has still managed to provide value at the plate with a 16.4% walk rate in the same 17-game stretch. The Idaho native is slashing .261/.366/.514 with eight home runs, 24 RBI, and 22 runs in 41 games for Durham. With the Rays stacked at the corner-infield spots, it'll be tough for Manzardo to get a call-up. However, he is a must-roster in dynasty leagues and can be stashed in deeper leagues.
