Kyle Manzardo Enters Second Half Cold

Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Kyle Manzardo is entering the second half ice-cold on offense. Since June 1, Manzardo is slashing .182/.302/.323 with a 21.6% strikeout rate in 99 at-bats. It brought his season line down to .238/.342/.442 through 265 at-bats. Although Manzardo is struggling lately, it shouldn't overshadow his solid offensive performance prior (.878 OPS before June 1). With Manzardo widely considered a top-tier hitting prospect and redraft/keeper league stash, he could still earn a call-up to a talented Tampa lineup if he snaps this cold streak.
