Kyle Larson qualified for the Grant Park race on the Chicago Street Course in seventh place. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver stayed in seventh after Stage 1 but got up to Christopher Bell's bumper after Stage 2 (second). Unfortunately, the No. 5 lost track position and had to battle his way back to fourth by the end of the race. Even in overtime, he could not get past teammate Chase Elliott. By then, his car was losing time coming out of turns. It was a rare race where Larson never led a single lap or set a fastest lap. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
