Kyle Larson Dominates Atlanta Yet Settles For Second
4 years agoKyle Larson did everything a racer could ask for. He led a ton of laps. He enjoyed a dominating race car. He looked poised to win and then just like that, it was gone. With just eight laps to go, Ryan Blaney got by his Chevy and Larson never could catch up. Larson ultimately got stuck in lap traffic to finish in second just over two seconds behind Blaney's Ford. Larson led 269 of the 325 laps and took both Stage 1 and Stage 2. He was that close to becoming the first driver to win twice on the young season.
