Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) is scheduled to throw two innings of batting practice sessions on Wednesday. The right-hander continues to work his way back from a torn capsule in his right shoulder. The expectation is that he'll be sent out for a rehab assignment, assuming the batting practice session goes well. Although, the team might want Hendricks to throw a few sessions before having him go out to the minors. Regardless, it's likely that Hendricks doesn't return to the Cubs rotation until early May.--Andy Webb
