Kyle Hendricks Could Return Before All-Star Break

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) could return from the injured list before the All-Star break, according to manager Joe Maddon. Hendricks felt good after throwing a bullpen session on Wednesday. The 29-year-old is a staple in the Cubs rotation and is 7-5 on the year with a decent 3.36 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 75 strikeouts in 88 1/3 innings over 14 starts. It's great news that Hendricks is making progress, but don't be surprised if we don't see him until the second half of the season with the All-Star break quickly approaching.
