Kyle Garlick Goes Yard Saturday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Kyle Garlick belted his fifth homer of the season in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Kansas City Royals. Garlick continued his success against left-handed pitching this season, taking Royals' lefty Mike Minor yard in the third inning. The blast left his bat at an exit velocity of 105.9 MPH with a projected distance of 411 feet. Garlick makes for a sneaky-good fantasy option when going up against left-handed pitching, considering his .916 OPS as well as the fact that four of his five long balls have come against lefties.
