6 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland will start against the Cubs in the wild-card game on Tuesday. Freeland will be making his third career start against the Cubs -- he allowed three runs on six hits with a walk and five strikeouts in seven innings against them this year. The left-hander was excellent on the year, going 17-7 with a 2.85 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 7.7 K/9 over 33 starts. He actually pitched slightly better at home at hitter-friendly Coors Field this year than on the road, but he'll be a strong DFS pick on the road at Wrigley Field on Tuesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
