For the second time in a row, Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland racked up a quality start. Unfortunately, his offense let him down this time, and he ended up taking a hard-luck loss. Freeland went seven innings against the Cubbies on Monday, allowing three earned runs on six hits and one walk. He struck out five, and that gives him a 13/3 K/BB ratio over his last 14 innings. Freeland has mixed three quality starts in with two terrible starts this season, but his recent run of back-to-back strong performances could be indicative of some good times ahead. Bold owners could hop on board the train for his Sunday start in New York against the Mets.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
