St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Kwang-Hyun Kim will start the season in the bullpen and will likely be the primary closer, according to manager Mike Schildt. Carlos Martinez earned a rotation spot, pushing Kim into the bullpen. Giovanny Gallegos and Ryan Helsley will throw significant innings and will have a chance to close if Kim struggles, but it looks like Kim will get the first chance at the ninth inning. He doesn't have the stereotypical "closer stuff" but he should still be a valuable reliever in most formats given his role.--David A Marcillo
