Despite a win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a runner-up finish at The CJ Cup last year, Kurt Kitayama disappeared for long stretches of 2023, racking up missed cuts in bunches. The 30-year-old's biggest weakness at the end of the season was his putting, which would thwart any good showings he would come across from tee-to-green. The upside is clearly present for the California native on any given week, but poor form in the fall swing and negative course history in Hawaii tells us we can "wait-and-see" on Kitayama to start 2024.--Tommy Bell
