1 year agoBoston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (back) is listed as questionable ahead of Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. The big man lands on the injury report after exiting early on Sunday due to a back issue. It's worth noting that Porzingis was able to return and finish out that contest. If he sits, Al Horford would likely move into the starting five. He'd be a strong streaming option if Porzingis is forced to sit out.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

11 hours agoBoston Celtics forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (illness) has been tagged as questionable on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat. A mysterious illness caused Porzingis to miss a couple of weeks at the beginning of last month, and he is still coping with its effects, possibly leading him to miss another game Wednesday night. Al Horford (toe) is also iffy for the contest, so Luke Kornet may have an extremely busy night in the frontcourt. Neemias Queta and Xavier Tillman Sr. would provide cover at the five.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoBoston Celtics forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (illness) will continue to sit on Friday against the Miami Heat. Boston has now listed him as questionable on the injury report a couple of times, but Porzingis is still working his way back from an illness and isn't yet ready for game action. His next chance to return will come quickly, as Boston also heads out on Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets. Al Horford will continue to do extra work on Friday with Porzingis out. The veteran had a very busy night last time out against the Oklahoma City Thunder, finishing a 118-112 loss on Wednesday with 18 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and one steal in 34 minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoBoston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Miami Heat. Porzingis is in danger of missing his eight straight game due to an illness. Porzingis originally sat the Toronto Raptors game on February 25 as a late scratch because of the illness. He then played in Detroit the day after, but has missed every game since then. Porzingis played in 32 games this season. He is averaging 18.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 28.9 minutes per game. If Porzingis remains sidelined, Neemias Queta and Luke Kornet may carry greater workloads on Friday.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoBoston Celtics forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (illness) will not play in Wednesday's matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He will skip a seventh consecutive game as Porzingis continues to recover from a mystery illness. Porzingis took part in the shootaround Wednesday morning, so he could be ready for game action really soon. Next up, the Celtics will have a back-to-back against Miami and Brooklyn, which starts on Friday. Al Horford (toe) will be back in the lineup for Wednesday's game and benefit most from Porzingis' absence.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
