Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang (lower body) will not play on Tuesday against Detroit and is considered day-to-day. Letang will be absent for a second consecutive game. Nate Clurman replaced him in the lineup on Sunday versus the Islanders. However, Marcus Pettersson (lower body) might play against the Red Wings instead of Clurman. He's been out for six games but participated in the morning skate. Pettersson has been a productive two-way defenseman for the Penguins, posting 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in 32 games with 56 blocks and 36 hits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
