6 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (shoulder) is progressing without limitations and is expected to begin hitting in January, according to president Theo Epstein. Bryant's left shoulder injury was the story of his disappointing 2018 season, as it limited him tremendously in the second half. He hit .272/.374/.460 and his counting stats (13 homers, 52 RBI) were down across the board as a result of the injury. With better health, Bryant should be able to bounce back next year and return to being one of the best hitting third basemen in the league.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
