Kolten Wong Dealing With Hamstring Tightness
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (hamstring) was removed in the seventh inning of Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals due to hamstring tightness. After the game, Brewers manager Craig Counsell told reporters that the team is being careful with him. Wong should be considered day-to-day. There's a good chance he sits out for Thursday's afternoon game. The 30-year-old veteran has been a mainstay at the top of the Brewers lineup for a while now. Over 108 games on the year, he's slashing .273/.333/.448 with 13 home runs, 10 stolen bases, 48 RBI and 64 runs.
