Kodai Senga To Miss Saturday's Start With Finger Injury
2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Kodai Senga (finger) will not make his scheduled start on Saturday due to discomfort at the base of his right index finger. He will undergo imaging, and an update will be announced later. Senga signed with the Mets this offseason after coming over from Japan and is expected to serve as the No. 3 starter behind Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander. He currently has an ADP of 168, as there are some questions about how effective he'll be stateside, though there's plenty of upside. The 30-year-old pitched two innings in his first start of the spring, giving up one run and striking out two. Senga is considered day-to-day.
