Knicks Make Mitchell Robinson The 36th Selection
The New York Knicks selected Mitchell Robinson with the 36th overall pick Thursday night in the NBA Draft. Robinson is an unbelievable athlete. He is also a great rebounder and shot blocker. Robinson is also very raw, considering he missed last year with a school issue, and is also only 20 years old. The intriguing thing is with Kyle O’Quinn opting out and becoming a free agent, the only player ahead of Robinson on the Knicks depth chart is Joakim Noah, who has major injury concerns. With all those factors, Robinson may have a similar year in 2018-2019 that Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen had in 2017-2018.
