Klay Thompson Turns Back The Clock Sunday
2 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson played like his old self on Sunday versus Houston, hitting 10 treys and leading all scorers with 41 points in a 127-120 win. Thompson last scored more points in a regular-season game in January 2019. The veteran sniper shot 14-for-23 overall from the field and capped off his night with four rebounds, three assists and two steals. The Splash Brothers were in full swing here as Stephen Curry went for 33 points. The defending champions are back in action Monday against New Orleans and Thompson has yet to play both games in a back-to-back set, so he'll likely head to the sidelines to cool off a bit. But the five-time All-Star should be brimming with confidence right now and will look to terrorize the Clippers and Utah later in the week.
