Klay Thompson Scores 21 Points In Loss
6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson had a solid scoring game despite his team falling to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. He scored 21 points on an efficient 10-of-20 from the field. Thompson also added eight rebounds, two steals, and one three-pointer in 36 minutes of action. Thompson has been on fire lately, after being ice-cold to start the year. Over his last five games, he’s scored 27.0 points-per-game on 49.1 percent shooting and nailing 3.8 three-pointers per-game as well. Although he won't keep up that level of scoring with Steph Curry back in the lineup, his efficiency should go up even higher. Furthermore, he will get easier shots from three-point range, so he can improve on his career low 34.1 percent from there. Thompson will look to have another solid scoring night against the lowly Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.
