Khris Middleton Scores Career-High 51 Points
5 years agoMilwaukee Bucks small forward Khris Middleton had a monster game against the Wizards on Tuesday in a 151-131 win, scoring a career-high 51 points on 18-for-26 shooting. He went a superb 7-for-10 from deep and made all of his 12 free throws, adding 10 rebounds and six assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo (shoulder) was out and it was the Wizards, who play at a high pace but don't have a clue defensively, so Middleton was in a perfect spot to crush it, but he even managed to exceed expectations with a 50-point game. The Bucks will have a much tougher test next on Friday against the Nuggets, who are the exact opposite of Washington -- a slow-paced team with a solid defense.
