Kevin Stefanski, Andrew Berry Likely Returning To Browns In 2025
45 seconds agoAlbert Breer of the MMQB expects that Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry will remain with the organization heading into the 2025 season. "My understanding is that [...] the Browns' plan is to bring Stefanski and Berry back in 2025," Breer said during an appearance on Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football broadcast. There had been speculation about the job statuses of both Stefanski and Berry amidst the Browns' 2-8 start (they improved to 3-8 on Thursday), but it appears that both will keep their jobs for at least one more year. Although things aren't going particularly well for the Browns this year, Stefanski and Berry deserve credit for a pair of 11-win seasons and playoff berths in both 2020 and 2023. Stefanski is a two-time Coach of the Year while Berry has been credited with making aggressive moves to keep Cleveland in the mix within a competitive AFC North division. Stefanski and Berry will be tasked with making numerous decisions heading into 2025, including a verdict on the future of quarterback Deshaun Watson, who carries a hefty $72.9 million cap hit next year.
