Vancouver Canucks goaltender Kevin Lankinen continued his outstanding start to the season with another victory on Sunday against Detroit, setting a league record in the process. The 29-year-old became the first goalie in NHL history to win each of his first 10 road outings in a season. Lankinen has been in good form but needed quite a bit of help from the team this time, as the Canucks barely snuck past Detroit 5-4 in overtime. With Thatcher Demko (knee) on the shelf for the start of the season, Vancouver looked to have been in trouble, but Lankinen has held down the fort superbly, going 12-3-2 for the campaign. He has allowed 2.65 goals with a .907 save percentage and two shutouts. Demko is getting close to his season debut, but Lankinen's good play should guarantee him further opportunities in the Canucks crease.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
