Kevin Kisner Fits Well at Sedgefield, but Irons Are a Concern
3 years agoIn five appearances at Sedgefield, Kevin Kisner has three top tens, including a third-place finish last year. This is undoubtedly a great course for Kevin Kisner. Over his last 24 rounds, he ranks 15th in strokes gained putting on Bermuda-grass greens and sixth in average strokes gained per round on Donald Ross courses. The issue with Kevin Kisner is that he is coming off the worst ball-striking week of his career. Sure, those stats might be juked by a disaster Sunday where he shot a 79, but it's not like his first three rounds were any good either. I understand the course fit, but Kisner has had two solid finishes this year, and the rest of his season has been a mess. There are better options available in his price range.
