Kevin Kiermaier With A HR Wednesday Versus Detroit
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier woke up his bat long enough to homer Wednesday versus the Tigers. He would go 3-for-5 with two runs scored. Kiermaier would hit only his second HR of the season, a solo shot to get the Rays on the board. Even with the three hits, he still is only batting ,175 with only seven RBI. The center fielder hit 15 home runs and stole 16 bases last season. Kiermaier has the potential to put up double-digit steals and home runs and somewhere in the region of a .260-.270 average across the rest of the season.
