Ketel Marte Out With Hamstring Injury Monday
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (knee) is being held out of action for Monday's game against right-hander Alex Cobb and the San Francisco Giants. Marte is dealing with a strained left hamstring, an injury that caused him to be removed from Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies. He is being considered day-to-day for now. Josh Rojas is getting the start at the keystone for Monday's game. Marte has been struggling at the plate so far in August, slashing .217/.280/.261 across the first half of the month. He owns a .258/.344/.435 slash line on the year to go along with 10 homers, 42 RBI and 56 runs.
