Ke'Shawn Vaughn's Chances Could Hinge On Special Teams
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians would like to see more of second-year running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn in the offense, but Arians said Vaughn's chances of playing could hinge on special teams. "Ke'Shawn's made a nice move but he has to be a better special teams players right now because of what's in front of him," said Arians. What's ahead of him is Ronald Jones II, Leonard Fournette and Giovani Bernard, so Vaughn may not see much more than the 36 touches that he had in his rookie season in Tampa. Arians said he has "all the confidence in the world in him as a runner and a receiver," but he's just too far down the running back depth chart right now to make a difference in single-season fantasy leagues.
