Keon Broxton Suspended Two Games
5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Keon Broxton was suspended two games for throwing his equipment at umpire Manny Gonzalez on Monday. Broxton is appealing the suspension and can continue playing until the appeal is heard. It's been a tough year all around for Broxton, and he's hitting just .136 (6-for-44) with two homers, five RBI, 27 strikeouts and five walks in 19 games since joining the M's. He's simply a warm body in deep AL-only leagues and can be ignored everywhere else.
