Kenta Maeda Solid In Second Spring Outing
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starter Kenta Maeda pitched solidly in his second Cactus League game on Sunday. In 2 1/3 innings, he gave up two hits and one earned run while striking out three and walking none. The lone run came from prospect Steven Duggar's home run in the third. Maeda is looking to solidify his status as the team's No. 4 starter. He moved into the bullpen briefly in 2017, but there is no plan to do that this season. He's a solid mid-round pick who gets a bump in fantasy leagues that count wins. Quality starts will be harder to come by, and he'll need to reduce the number of long balls he gives up.
