Kenny Pickett Throws A Pick, Fumbles Twice In Week 8
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett completed 25 of his 38 passes for 191 yards and one interception while adding 37 yards on seven carries in a 35-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. The Steelers got one touchdown pass in the contest, but it was Chase Claypool and not Pickett who threw it in the first quarter. Pickett's interception came on a deflected ball in the end zone and he also fumbled twice, losing one. Ball security is becoming an issue for the rookie signal-caller, who now has now thrown eight picks and fumbled three times in five games. Pickett and the Steelers will be on bye in Week 9 before a home matchup against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10.
