3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Kenneth Gainwell could have a bigger role than expected as early as Week 1. Miles Sanders remains the starter and should see the most snaps in the Eagles backfield, but the coaching staff has made it clear that they don't plan to use Sanders as an every-down back. Gainwell was seen as the best pass-catching running back in the draft by many evaluators, so he should have no problem leaping over Boston Scott on the depth chart, if he hasn't already. Gainwell's upside will be limited by the presence of both Sanders and Scott, of course, but an injury ahead of him could make Gainwell an immediate must-add in all formats. Those in deeper leagues may want to roster him and have him on the bench as a potential huge upside option later in the year.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
