Kenley Jansen Works Clean Ninth Inning
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen recorded his 23rd save of the season in Saturday's victory versus the Los Angeles Angels. Jansen worked a clean 1-2-3 inning and recorded one strikeout in the frame. The veteran has had a rocky second half of the season, but he has now recorded back-to-back clean outings. The Dodgers didn't make any additions to their bullpen during the trade deadline and Jansen should remain the closer. Jansen now owns a 3.12 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 43 1/3 innings.
